Self Expression and the power of Belief -Hatsu Rei Ho Technique
The Hatsu Rei Ho Technique is used to empower the self. In Japanese and buddhist traditions this is used on a daily basis. It assists in clearing negative energy from the aura as well as releasing blockages that sit within the solar plexus, an area where many emotions are suppressed. When a person shouts out with a HAAA, it comes from the solar plexus as opposed to shouting from the throat. Once achieved the student feels powerful and continues to receive greater power and healing to aid their journey. It is only after this that we give a Reiju Empowerment as a completion to the initiation of the Reiki 1 level attunement.

We believe that the Reiki attunement is given in two parts, the first on the first day by placing the symbols into the aura. On the second day the attunment in the form of a Reiju Empowerment only after the hatsu Rei Ho Technique has been accomplished.

"Javi s" Story

I am a registered volunteer for an AIDS charity called "Concordia" I have been registered with the charity since 2002.

Part of my spiritual work that is connected with the charity, is "being there" for someone,when in many circumstances others are not. It may be termed as a "Buddy".
Additionally my husband is also a volunteer. We often work alongside the psychologists by giving treatments to a person affected by HIV. Due to the continued stigma in todays society, even now people still find it hard to disclose their status, thus having and causing stress and other ailments such as depression and lack of self acceptance. By receiving Reiki prior to a treatment,the patient is more likely to open up emotionally as they are in a relaxed state of consciousness.

On many occasions, especially in the first four years, I was able to visit the daycare centre every week, providing Reiki for anyone who felt they needed it. Often I would be giving 4-6 treatments each week.

There is also the home visits as well as Hospital Visits.
One morning, "Concordia" asked me to accompany them to the Hospital as there was a young man who was dying of AIDS. This is his story.

"Javis Story"

Javi was the same age as me, 40. However his sunken face and jaundiced skin made him look many years older. He was frail, with a stomach full of fluid. There was a complication and his body was bloating.
Yet his piercing blue eyes shone like sapphires against the whites of his eyes tinged with yellow speckles.
"Javi" has always denied Reiki treatments at the centre, he was shy, and prefered his life on the street, something he had always known.
However, now that he was in hospital,in pain, he felt he wanted a relief.

"Javi" was unaware that he was dying as he had been in and out from time to time.
Why had he denied the healing in the past?
Did he not love himself enough to care?
Did he feel that he did not deserve it?

I sat down with him while a monitor from the centre went to run some errands.
I explained to Javi what Reiki was and asked himif he wanted to receive any.
He wanted to smoke.
Smoking was not a good option as it was not allowed. However I thought, I have to gain his trust. He did not trust anyone. So I stood by the door, watching out for any nurses, so that he could just enjoy a quick puff on a cigarette.
Realizing that I was "helping" he said he wanted to try the reiki.
I asked him to close his eyes, but he was too eager to know what was going to happen that he wanted tokeep them open.
He lay slightly upright in the hospital bed. I placed my hands in the aura of the crown chakra and then the crown. As I did so his eye lids began to flutter to the point of closing. He started to relax. I only did a session for about 10minutes. When he came to, he said he felt spaced out,like when he took his heroin.

Javi,had been a heroin addict. The centre, with their drug rehabilitation programme had eased him onto methadone,however street life and drugs had been his life.His family had been involved in drugs. Sadly he had not known any different. Any time he tried to move forward, something just pulled him back to that life.

I felt that the work at the centre was teaching me about compassion. With Javi, it was a special journey.

I arranged with the moitor and Javi that I would visit him each week.

The hospital had only given him 3 weeks maximum to live.They said it was just a matter of time.

Tuesday came around again and I visited "Javi" for a second time. This time he was more eager to have Reiki and more eager to talk. He said that nobody had been to see him. Nobody.

His dream was to return home.He realised that he was not going to get better and something,made him feel like his days were ending, like a knowingness gliding over him.He asked me to arrange for him to return home,a flat that was his, yet in times he had not even lived there as there were people and situations he was running from.
But there was family,his late brothers exwife and her two sons.Why had they not been to see him?

Most of his family were dead. Drug addiction had ended their days.
I said I would do what was possible.
We started another Reiki session, this time my main focus was on the thymus. I also knew that when working with the dying, the terminal, that working from the feet upwards, was the most beneficial process, but I did not feel or see someone who was ready to die, he was not ready to go. Much of the Reiki took place in the aura, where I was able to connect with the pains of the past, the circumstances that he was running away from, the fears that had overshadowed his path and his life.

"Promice me you will arrange for me to go home" he said,"I promice I will do my best". I fought long and hard for Javi to return home.I researched for nursing care, rang hospices, who sadly would not accept Javi as he did not have "Cancer" AIDS was not Cancer sohe was not allowed to go. I fought against so much red tape, but sadly, the powers that be would not allow the procedure to take place.

The following week, I visited Javi.The prior complication had eased and the nurses were able to drain off the liquid. His eyes were glistening and the whites of the eyes whiter, but the body more frail.

"Can I go to my home" was his first words when I saw him the following week. Sadly it was not possible. He was dissappointed as this was his dying wish. He did not want to die in hospital and still no visitors. We continued with the healing.
Javi had been given 3 weeks to live. In fact he lived for 3 months. Unfortunately because of his weakness he started with bed sores, even though the nurses turned him.

I still continued to meet his dying wish,but because of ethics and health it was not possible to allow this to happen. The last visit was emotional.He knew and I knew, that the acceptance that his time was nearly up,was near. He was still able to talk a little. He was waiting to see me. He told me that an old friend had been to see him as well as his late brothers ex wife, though only for 5minutes.

He said some special words that I wish to share with you
"You did not know me, but you made time to be there for me. You did not judge me, you accepted me for who I am, and you gave me one true gift, that I have never had in my life, the ability to receive love.You have shown me what real love is. Thank you for that."

His eyes weerily closed and he sunk into a slight sleep. I continued to give healing, from the feet upwards and blessing his aura with light.

I received a phone call the following day to say that Javi had passed to the light.
I found it a great lesson as I was able to be there for Javi, buthe in turn is there for me.Javi is one of the great teachers, who will go on teaching.I have used his example on many occaisions, and you can share his story with yours.

I sincerely believe that the time Javi had was extra, to learn to receive and accept Love, Unconditional love. We all think that everyone experiences love in their life, but many alas do not.This is a reason why we, as Reiki Masters,Teachers and Practitioners,have a unique gift to share with the world.

This empowers me,to know that Reiki is a powerful tool to share with the world.
How beautiful and powerful Love is.....

Healing is always "thy will".

A dear friend,who was always full of life,wild and vivacious rang me one day, with sad news. She told me that she had "Ewings Sacrcoma",a Cancer that affects the lymphatic System.

She was told that the Cancer was agressive and that no-one had ever lived over 5 years with this type of Cancer. What lay ahead were months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments to kill the Cancer cells. But the Cancer treatments were also destroying her good cells. However it did not destroy her will to live.

Even when her best friend went to visit her in the Hospital,allshe saw was what looked like a bag of bones,but she was still able to reach a smile, when she used to call us on the telephone,she could hardly speak because of the blisters in her mouth,but she was able to cry to a friend who was willing to listen.

She did have friends and family who were supporting her and that kept her strong.

Additionally she reflected back tothe time that she came to the healing circle, when she first found out about her Cancer. She explained that she found a lump on her foot. The size of a marble. The doctors had done tests,but had lost her details,which in many ways delayed the process of knowing,and all the time the cancer was spreading.By the time she knew,it had spread into her lymphatic system.

Even when she spoke about her cancer,she spoke with compassionate words.

Within the healing circle we asked her what her intention was,what she hoped to gain fromthe healing session. She quoted " I want to see my twins 18th Birthday, I want to be 50, I want to Live" We were filled with tears in our eyes, happy for this incredible soul.

She lay down on the healing bed. The scent of the parma violets filled the room the presence ofmy guide "Maria Luigia" and the 10 healers connected to her energy visualizing her intention.

Our friends sister was in the room,never witnessing healing,but was there to support her sister. As she was witnessing the healing she felt as though she was going into a meditive state and her hands were floating upwards on their own. After the session she left to meet her friends in a bar.We suggested that she should not drink,but she thought,what the hell, she had one beer and slide down the bar onto the floor. This experience changed her life.She was so blown away with it that she herself changed her life and is now a Reiki Master.

She moved to be near her sister and helped her with her healing journey.

Our friend did see her twins 18th birthday and she did turn 50. On her 50th birthday she threw a pillow party. All the money raised, she went out and bought pillows for the ward she was in at "Jimmys" in Leeds. She mentioned that when she was in hospital the pillows were lumpy,so new pillows were an asset.

She herself went on to become a Reiki Practitioner. The power of visualization she feels is important. She would always visualize herself by the sea,looking at the blue sky and the sea and knowing that healing light was sent her way.

She continues to be a source of inspiration as she remains in remission. She has just become a grandmother at the age of 57. Almost ten years from when she was first diagnosed with a Cancer that the doctors thought she had only months to live.

Life after Cancer

Cancer can often be a turning point in ones life. Some see it as a wakeup call, that something has to shift or change within the current life style. I have known many people who have changed their lives,or they have seeked out the spiritual side of themselves, where before they only questioned, but now discovered.

Cancer for some has awakened a new path,a new journey of self discovery, often leading to dramatic changes for the better in ones life. Cancer not only affects you, the "Victim" but also the whole family. It is important not to feel a "Victim" as you are a human being undergoing a transformational change.

Cancer is hard and difficult to come to terms with.

But Cancer can be beaten.

I have found that Love and support from friends and family is important.
However I have met many Cancer Patients,who find it hard to accept help from other people. Sometimes this can be hard if you have always been the "PeoplePleaser".

Cancer sometimes affects a person when the lesson is to accept help.Pushing the self until it is exhausted only depletes ones health.

Suppressing past issues and hurts will only eat away at the physical causing "Cancer".

"Sheilas Story"

In 2002 I met a woman who was frail and yellow with Jaundice. She was accompanied by her husband. They had been receiving healing,but felt the need to talk and receive healing from a group (Alternative World Healing Circle)in a safe place.

They entered the healing room and joined 1ohealers who were in the room.
Neither sheila or her partner had been to a healing circle before.
We gave them an opportunity to talk.
The man listened to his wife with his head bowed downwards.
His wife spoke,but with much anger.
She had worked as a driver for the local hospital taking Cancer patients to hospital and her husband an ambulance driver
We all listened with an open heart.
The word "ear" existswithin "Heart"
There was clearly "Anger" in her words,not just about Cancer, but her whole life.

Reiki benefits from an intention
After listening to her story,we asked her to lie down on the healing bed. Each healer took a position that they felt they wanted to connect with.Before admistering the healing we asked her for her intention for the healing session.

She commented "Ifyou were to offer me two hands,one being the hand of life and the other, the hand of death,then I want to take the hand of death. I want to die.

Now these words were very powerful,and quite hard to accept,even for ourselves.

When we connect to the light of the universe, the heavens, we ask for the highest intention to be met.As it is not "my will,but thy will."

Sheila received 30minutes of healing from 10 healers, working hands on and within the aura.

Her Partner sat observing in a slight meditational state. At one point there was a slight gasp from him as he witnessed "White Light". My guide also camein with her scent of parma violets as it filled the room.

When we finished the healing session,sheila,sat upright, tears in her eyes, and explained that she now knew, why she had Cancer.

She explained that when she was 4 years old until she was 15 she was a victim of abuse.This secret she carried with her all her life. She supressed it,never telling anyone, but that pain, had eaten away at her. The Primary Cancer she had was in the Pancreas. It is said in Metaphysical termsthat the Liver/Pancreas represents unresolved anger issues.

For a further three weeks, wewent to visit sheila in her home. She was dying.By coming to terms with her pain she was able to accept what happened. The healing was a process that was able to help the release from one world to another.

The day before she passed away, her head turned to the left as though searching forthe tunnel of white light and I holding her frail jaundiced hand,we created a visual meditational prayer to enable her to cross over.

I asked if there was any family member that she was able to connect with on a heart level.Sadly there was not,asthere had been much pain in the family.But one, her pet cat called "Timmy". We all visualised "Timmy" coming out of the light to greet her and asked her to follow timmy back into the light.

It was as though sheila was holding on....

That was until she received a call from a daughter she had not spoken to for many years....

In the early hours of the morning,we received a call to say that sheila had passed.

As a thank you for the healing journey she had asked her partner to give us a statue entitled "Spring Maiden". This we still have in our garden.

Her other request was to speak the ulergy ather funeral, the final departure.

Sheila had brought much happiness into other peoples lives, and still does through the story of this tale.

What sheila forgot was to bring happiness into her own life, when she had a life.
"Pleasing others does not heal your own pain."

Her Partner realised his potential and went on to heal himself and then others.

When we teach a reiki workshop,it is a life changing experience. We do not just teach the healing techniques, but we go back to the ethics and principles that Mikao Usui first began to teach. Mikao Usui focused upon "soul growth". The onlyway in which the soulcan accept change,is when the person is ready to change.A realization that the current journey is not working and knowing that a vibrational lift, a source of self belief and knowingness that there is more to life,will encourage the person to acceptthe process of change.Once accepted the awareness to channel the light of unconditional love on all levels of being and consciousness comes to the fore.

The demand for our workshops in Melilla is astounding. We continue to meet the needs of individuals who are all too aware for the growing need to access the spiritual self and adopt this path into mainstream living. Additionally I feel more people are realizing that something has to change. Often it is the self that needs to change. Raising the spiritual consciousness of each individual through Reiki, we are able then to access our highest needs.

Realizing one is powerful though the healing power of joy

Self expression laughter therapy and inner child works enables a greater connection to channeling Reiki. It also encourages you to improve the way you live your life.

Many of our students become good friends. We are grateful for the continued friendship from Carmen, from Carmen y Aurora Esteticas in Melilla and Chique from the Nurses Union in Melilla.

The way in which Luis and I teach Reiki differs slightly from how others feel Reiki should be taught. How I have learned and developed myself as well as inspiring and teaching others is, that Reiki has no boundries. I feel it is imperetive to reach back to the roots of Mikao Usui and teach and treat how he initially intended. After studying and researching gaining insight into various healing moduals he was able to become inspired from how he felt Healing mechanisms can assist the higher self and the human body.

Healing ones thoughts is additionally important. This is an aspect we have developed in our workshops, especially on Reiki 1. Reiki one we feel is not just about healing the physical self and learning hand positions for self and others. It is not just about learning the 5 reiki principles. The 5 Reiki principles can be adapted and put into practise to learn who we are and why we behave in a certain way. For example the phrase "Just for Today" teaches us to live in the moment, "I do not Anger". This term actually causes the opposite. An american student of psychology actually taught me that when a person says the word "Not" the mental mind rebels. Therefore the best way to put this principle across is by placing it into an affirmation,
"Just for today, I release all anger"
or "Being angry towards myself and others no longer suits my purpose"
Still the same message is coming across but perhaps in a more powerful and sustainable way.

Additional adaptations that we have made are laughter therapy. When we are giving a Reiju empowerment we find that some self development exercises assisting in the releasing of suppressed emotions ease out within the Hatsu Rei Ho only after these therapies. Additional therapies including dance and movement assists with self expression, confidence and the ability to say NO.

Please take time to view the pictures in these photos and notice the difference in expression and liberation of the soul as it rejoices in a new way of being. We find that limiting beliefs about ourselves and the need to be needed can often prevent these new ways forward. Men interestingly enough have a very powerful healing energy. Yet this is often only accessed when he is able to let himself go.

The majority of students are women. We have been witness to so many people changing their lives in a powerful manner. Our work in North Africa in the Spanish enclave Melilla has opened up new avenues for persons to explore to re-capture a powerful way forward in existance. Their light is spreading creating a greater need for people who wish to attune to the powerful energy of Reiki.

We believe in making workshops fun and enjoyable. To be able to look back and say "I remember the weekend when my life began to change in a more positive direction"
Reiki is now being used by many medical/nurses and we are privilaged to be a part of the empowerment and initiation of many who are assisting in bringing a new light to medicine to treat the whole person.

We aim to reach the person/persons who wish to develop themselves with reiki. We do not give the form of Reiki a name. In some workshops we may connect with the Egyptian energies of the Sphinx or Isis, other times it could be the power animal of the shamen, others it is the uniqe vibration of Usui himself, or it could be the Angels or departed loved ones that connect to bring forth a gentle introduction to the student to embrace the spiritual path.

Reiki we feel is like opening a doorway, a spiritual doorway for self and spiritual development. Understanding deep relaxation, meditation, visualization, chakras and auras as well as channeling Reiki are part in parcel of our workshop. However each workshop is different. It reaches the mental/emotional need of the student as well as connecting to their belief system to assist with the changing vibrational shift.

We believe that Reiki practitioners/Masters/Teachers are assisting with the introduction of a new path towards enlightement. In many ways it prepares the student for a new path. Each student then touches others, creating a pebble in a pond effect. Watching the ripples run outwards is often a heartwarming gift.
It also re-affirms our own path and our reasons for coming together to assist with the star seed revolution of change for the new world. The new world is not a political imagery, it is something that we all want.

Many students have gone on to work as therapists or use Reiki alongside their holistic therapies. Some have gone on to open centres, others have used it to run circles or just simply to develop and heal themselves.

Finding time to heal and improve oes life can often be hard. Intergrating a way of life of meditation and healing can often be a struggle. For that purpose we also have a Reiki share where you can meet others like-minded. The Sirius Reiki circle of light meets in Mijas Costa monthly. Attending this meeting one is able to off load, ask questions as well as join in healing for self and others. Some group healing takes places especially for persons suffering with chronic or terminal diseases.

Those who have Sirius as their planetary origin are very focused, very determined and set on whatever path they are on at a given time. It is very difficult to change the mind of one from Sirius, but once they have become convinced that a new "path" is more appropriate, they become totally focused on the new, and release the old quickly. Sirians have strong beliefs, ideals and personal integrity.

Those from Sirius make loyal, trustworthy friends, but expect the same in return. They become hurt and disillusioned when these expectations are not met. Sirians do not share the inner personal self with others easily, and may have difficulty sharing emotions and expressing feelings and needs. To be fully accepted and trusted as a close personal friend of a Sirian means that you have been carefully scrutinized. Sirians may have difficulty in relationships and friendships when they expect to be treated in a certain way, but do not share their expectations with the others involved. It is important to work with sharing expectations, ideals, communicating needs and desires to avoid being hurt and disillusioned. This often occurs as a result of lack of communication or lack of mutual understanding and clarity in relationships.

Those from Sirius tend to be future oriented, and do not enjoy focusing on the past. They may become defensive if forced to focus on the past by others. This is due to the fact that past pain and emotion is held within, denied and repressed rather than being dealt with at the time of occurrence. Due to this there may be large amounts of old emotion in need of being dealt with and released. Sirians do not enjoy confrontations or open expressions of anger but if forced into an argument will defend themselves and their beliefs fiercely. This is particularly true if honour of themselves or loved ones is involved. One of the lessons many Sirians have chosen to work with in this lifetime is the importance of releasing old pain, forgiving self and others, and moving on.

Sirians have a very unique and strong sense of humour, which often is only seen when they are with those they trust and feel at ease with. Sirians may be considered dreamers by some. This is due to their active, vivid inner life. This can cause forgetfulness and a tendency to not notice trivial third dimensional things in the present. They may at times appear to be uninterested, or inattentive, but in actuality they are simply somewhere else. They may not realize that others are unaware of their inner activity. Although they appear very calm, quiet and reserved on the surface, there is much activity within. As children, Sirians may often be thought to have learning disorders or thought to have problems with their attention span.

This is due to the attraction of the inner world, which is often more interesting than that which is taught in Earth schools. They do best in learning when visual methods of teaching are used, and they are allowed hands on types of learning with freedom to move around and explore. These are children who benefit greatly from alternative schools, the are very intelligent but strong enough within to feel that if something does not interest them, they should not be required to learn about it.

Those from Sirius have a deep connection to the Earth and energies of nature. Many Sirians have had numerous lives as American Indians and maintain close ties and memories of these lives. They are very visual, both in their ability to see things which others do not, and in their manner of learning.

Reiki is used all over the World. It is now available in some hospitals, most Hotels and Spas, Hairdressers, dentists, Hospices

It is accepted and recognised as a Complementary Therapy that assists in the healing of the whole person.

What is a Reiki Treatment?

Firstly we give you the opportunity to off load any problems or issues within a safe environment as well as taking some personal details.
Reiki works upon your intention. The Practitioner asks you for your intention that you hope to gain from the healing session for the benefit of your healing experience.

You are then shown the healing bed and asked to lie down. The healing is carried out while you are fully clothed, therefore it is suggested that you wear comfortable clothing.
You will only be asked to remove your shoes and heavy Jewellery.

The Practitioner then will show you the hand positions he will be using to aid your healing and wellbeing. He will then explain that Reiki is channelled unconditional love that flows through him, his hands and through each of your chakras (energy centres).
Healing also takes place in the aura.
The aura is your energy field, often where dis-ease manifests in the form of mental/emotional issues.
In that time the Reiki Practitioner may feel or intuitively connect to the area that needs to be addressed to aid your own healing process..

In that time you may feel deep relaxation or even enter sleep state.
The treatment usually lasts 45 minutes

You will be gently woken up and given a glass of water
Then the treatment is discussed.

As with all complementary therapies one treatment may not be sufficient to heal your issues/problems/ill health.
In standard practices it is suggested to have 3 Reiki Treatments fairly close together
Eg. Once a week, for three weeks.

Spreading our wings and light into the world is our main objective. One of the most precious signs that we are on the right path, is when students begin to create their own circles, often using a template from our teaching methods. Not only that but from one acorn, grows an oak.

Now the students are spreading the word that our method of teaching is diverse yet effective in assisting in changing lives in a positive way. Still retaining the initial Reiki ethics and teachings we also find what is best for your healing to take place. Incorporated into workshops we also include Laughter therapy, Dance and movement as well as anger management techniques deriving from Buddhist teachings.

The next Reiki workshops will take place in Central Melilla (North Africa) from the 29th October- 9th Novemeber. We will be teaching 2 reiki 1 workshops (now fully booked) and a Reiki 2 Course (minimum 3 months before attending this course).
These workshops are taught in Spanish.

On the 28th and 29th November we will be at Villa La Paz in Coin. Here we are teaching a Reiki 1 course. There is a residential facility here or apartments on the coast are available for rental.(for non residents)

Healing Circles- Today is a new Dawn

For the past 8 years I have been running Healing Circles assisting in networking and acting as a Catalyst in bringing lightworkers together to interact, grow, share and develop their healing and meditation gifts.

Now it is time for the seeds to be sown. Seeds have been planted in the form of confidence, healing, self worth and recognition, self belief and knowledge as well as unconditional love. That self recognition within their hearts has grown with the realization that their time has come to start a circle of light.

I know that my time has come to delegate the leadership of new circles. I need to spend more time teaching and writing. I know that my spiritual work is taking me on new paths. Being a part of their formation is one of the most beautiful experiences I could wish for.

New healing circles are being formed by former students and followers.

An introduction

Bullying is a major problem within todays society within many schools.
Peer pressure, fashion status and trends often have effects upon a childs life.
Sexuality and weight also have effects on a childs life.

The most important aspect of life is to be yourself.

Unfortunately too many children bury their true dreams and aspirations for the fear of not fitting in at school. Too many children suppress their true feelings and emotions.
Reiki can help your child to be in touch with themselves.
Reiki can install confidence
Reiki can help your child heal past hurts
Reiki can prevent bullying
Reiki can help your child follow their heart and achieve greater goals and aspirations

Having being bullied as a child I am all too aware of the affects of how it affects a child.
It affects your whole life. I was once a shy teenager who missed out on opportunities because I was too shy and allowed others to hold me back from achieving within school.
Once I overcame my shyness I was able to confront my fears.

A little later in life I discovered Reiki.

I am now in the public eye and run workshops, presentations, organize events, and work within the media. The energy of Reiki helps to boost confidence as well as raising the spiritual frequency.

The people I have taught have ranged from early 20s to late 60s. All those people who have embarked upon courses have changed their lives for the better. They have each found their foundation. A place to work from to achieve and set new goals, they had only once dreamed of.

Reiki 1 is the foundation maker of life. Your child could find themselves at an early age.
Within workshops I teach meditation and creative visualization.

Meditation helps to relax your child. If for example they suffer with sleepless nights, nightmares, tantrums, hyper active behavior, then this helps to calm and relax them as well as teach them to focus and become more positive within themselves.

Creative visualization helps to train their mind as well as encourage greater creativity within. For example this may help to bring about great works of art and literature.A dream diary is also encouraged. Keeping records of dreams creates a greater connection to the universe as well as understanding themselves.

Healing is the greatest priority. Healing is love, unconditional love for the self. Understanding the self creates acceptance. Love is the key to life.

Children are taught how to heal themselves as well as other people, plants and animals.
This also creates a greater bonding within their lives, friendships, family and society.

The workshop

The reiki 1 workshop is taught in one day.
To make the workshop exciting and enjoyable I also incorporate other therapies that work very well with Reiki. Laughter therapy is enjoyable with many adults, but especially children. Laughter is also incredibly powerful as it raises the bodies natural healing defenses. It also releases stress and creates bonding with other children.
Dance therapy is also incorporated into the course to encourage confidence and liberation of the spirit. Here we discover the inner born leader who is crying to escape and prove themselves.

The workshop also focuses on affirmations and positive thoughts.

Reiki 2 Workshops

Reiki Two is the second degree level.
There are many ways in which Reiki is taught. This largely depends upon the Teacher and the Lineage that is followed.

I practise the Traditional Usui method as well as the Integrated Tibetan method.
Level two can only be taken after you have completed level one. You must have been attuned to level one for a minimum of three months. As you know, Reiki One is largely about Self Healing and meditation although you are also introduced to healing others.

Reiki two is about using the Sacred symbols of Reiki that were channelled by Mikao Usui in the late 1800s. These originally are to be kept sacred, although now you can find them on the internet and published within many books. In one way this goes against the Traditional teaching of Reiki.

Reaching Reiki two does not mean that you stop working upon yourself.
It means that you continue at a deeper level as well as healing others.

The Workshop

This workshop is taught over 2.5 days

Three days prior to the workshop you will receive the Symbols and the Mantras. You must be able to draw, the symbols as well as write and chant the mantras. These you must learn off by heart by the time you return for the workshop. The symbols and mantras must be destroyed so that no-one can view them. You will know them and retain them within.

.Throughout the Workshop you are taught to feel and connect to the energy of each symbol through meditation practices. Each symbol carries a different vibration and healing energy.
You will connect with the Power Symbol, Mental Emotional and the Distance Symbol.
You will connect with the Unconditional love of Reiki through the highest Power for your Personal self development.

Attunements and Empowerments
Also incorporated into this workshop are Soul Development Exercises, Meditations and Visualizations, Distance Healing, Healing with Crystals, The Violet Flame, The power of the Universe, Healing Relationships, working with the Terminally ill and the dying, Releasing Karma,

It was re-discovered by Mikao Usui in the late 1800s while he was on a meditation fasting for 21 days on Mount Karuma in Japan. During the 21 days he received an attunement in the form of a bright light, symbols and mantras.

You must have completed a Reiki 1 course prior to attending this workshop.
You are to bring with you your Reiki 1 certificate as well as your manual from the course.

Why is healing the aura so important?

The Aura is part of you. It is your energy field, an extention of you.
When you receive a cut to the body, sustain an injury or undergo an operation, any where where there is a tear or cut to your body, so to the aura undergos a tear or cut.

This is why healing is so important. Conventional medicine is unable to heal the aura. The only form of healing that can occur in this are is healing light from source through the power of healing.

Let us take an example.
A man sustains an injury of a broken arm. The arm is damaged and there is need for a cut to the body in order to repair the break. Already the man has terrified thoughts and anguish that he has projected into his own aura. What we send out to the aura, we later diject and become. Therefore the aspect of healing the thought process also comes into play. Reiki works on all levels of being, healing what needs to be addressed. Reiki is an intelligence and knows exactly where and what to heal at the given time.

As the knife goes into the skin, the knife also cuts the aura. After the operation the cut is sewn up but the aura is left with a tear or hole. When un dealt with this creates a weakness in the bodies defenses as well as leaving the body open for negative as well as positive influences. If there are a few cuts to the aura, in time the aura becomes weaker and the person becomes affected with various aches and pains. Apart from the physical aspects, mental emotional experiences can cause harm to the auric field.

Lets take this man who has sustained the injury. He is left traumatised. This trauma creates a seed in the auric field. If this man for example then had an argument with a family member, and the argument caused emotional disturbance, so much so that he could not let go of the past, this too would create a seed. Everytime you have an argument, a fight, a fear and doubt a worrying thought pattern and so forth, you are planting seeds into your aura.

As the seeds sit there , they find the weak points. From here they grow roots to find weaknesses in the body. This is where pain and disturbance is felt in the body.
We tend only to go to a doctor when we feel pain, often leaving it til it gets unbearable before we do anything about it.
Orthodox medicine steps in and deals with the physical pain. They do not however deal with the auric field, often the area where the problem manifested.

Auric psychic surgery is an option. We teach this art on Reiki 3 A.R.T. BUT in some cases with students who are advanced and work in the complementry field, teaching it on Reiki 2. We teach you how to enter into the auric field and feel what the problem is. You also work with the client, in a light hypnotherapy session aiding them and working with them to release the problem. Through the hypnotised state your are guided to the area where the problem sits. The student is then shown how to cut into the aura, release the problem and the seed, roots and sensation to then seal the area. Healing is then administered. We have over 20 case studies, where after this treatment the pain is relieved and the client is able to feel a sense of peace.
A full recovery may take a few sessions, but the psychic work on the aura is necessary to treat the whole person.

Today in the uk and further afield, Reiki is used in hospitals, hospices and other medical fields as it is now realised that healing does benefit the client/patient to access wellness.

Your Reiki Questions- 21 days and self Healing, is it necessary?

Reiki 1 is perhaps the most important level of Reiki that there is . Why? Because it is the re-connection process, in teaching you that you are a channel to the uncondional love and light from the Universe. Reiki 1 needs to be thorough in its teaching menthods to teach you how to relax, meditate, visualize, empower yourself and most importantly, heal yourself.

This is not going to be achieved over night. Reiki is not only a form of healing. it is much more than that, it is a path. I will give you a couple of examples to back up my views. I have been teaching Reiki for 10 years. In that time I have kept various case studies of various students who have either worked or not worked upon themselves.

You obviously would be taught that attuning to Reiki 1, your level of consciousness raises a vibration. Therefore giving healing to yourself assists in working with the new vibration and harmonizing the self.

Here is a case study.

On this particular course there were two students. One woman in her mid 40s who had already taken a Reiki 1 course, but felt that she did not get a good experience. (She was not taught to give herself healing in the 21 days).
So on this occaision she took a refresher course. Many of the techniques and practises taught on our workshop were not familar with her, which brings questions to the fore of what Masters and Teachers actually teach on courses.

The second student was an art teacher in a local comprehensive school. She had a creative block and needed to access her sense of creativity so she could teach fulfillingly. Other than that it was a friends illness of Cancer that brought her to the door of Reiki. She wanted to help her.

The workshop brought many mirrors and facets to the surface. Often self healing can bring up the feelings of fight or flight syndrome.

Reiki 1 teaches you to put yourself first. If I use the example of a plane crashing. The pilot tells us to put the mask on ourselves so we are in a position to help others. This is exactly the same. We have to be well within in order to be ready to help others. Reiki 1 teaches you to do something for yourself.

After the course the two students entered into the 21 day cleansing period. Here we ask students to keep a diary for 21 days detailing their self healing, meditations and thoughts and experiences. Within 21 days 90% of students change their life in a more positive direction.

They returned after the 21 days.
**The person who had done the refresher course had not changed.
why?
Because she did not work on herself
She was able to give healing to others, but not to herself.
She commented that she did not feel she deserved to give herself the healing.

**Mikao usui had brought in the 5 reiki principles after he realised that the beggers were returning to the beggers camp where he was working giving healing to the sick. The five reiki principles assisted in giving them self acceptance, and a realization that they deserved.

In our teachings we now ensure that we heal the students thoughts. Using the 5 reiki principles as a template we are able to heal the students individual thoughts assisting in a positive life change.

The second student , the art teacher, gave herself healing everyday and wrote a diary.
Her life changed considerably and enjoyed the sense of peace she found within when giving herself self healing treatments. Her comments were "Ive come home to me"
She found inspiration and created and exhibition of her works.
She found that she was able to work with students better and also projected out her dream of running her own retreat teaching art. On her personal life her life changed considerably for the better. She was able to say the word NO.

Interestingly many students who enter onto our workshops and courses, are PEOPLE PLEASERS. They put everyone elses needs before themselves-WHY?
This is often deriving from a need to be wanted, needed, loved or accepted.

This is why Reiki 1 is so important.

There are many questions surrounding the method and teaching of Reiki. Numerous people have had differing experiences and questions regarding the way in which Reiki is taught.

Why does each Reiki Master Teach Reiki in a different way?

The difference between Reiki and a Religion is that although there are foundations there is no strict rule that sets a president on the way a Reiki workshop should be taught. Primarily the outline of what Reiki is, the history of Reiki and the hand positions for self healing and healing of others really is a necesesity. Of course receiving the attunements is paramount. Religion tends to be fixed in the way it is taught, yet Reiki is taught from a spiritual perspective which encompases all Religions and belief systems.

Some Reiki Masters adopt their own form of Reiki, with a belief system that they feel comfortable with. Therefore there are around 50 differing forms of Reiki all deriving from the tradional simple form. This is not wrong. It has the Masters essence and belief thus creating a comfortable way forward in their teaching of the workshop.

Personally I feel I need to follow the essence in its pure form. Other than calling it Reiki I dont wish to add something else to its meaning. Reiki means Universal Energy. Therefore for example some people might call it Rainbow Reiki, Dolphin Reiki Wicca Reiki, Violet flame Reiki. I feel by adding the fore running words, the source and energy is restricted, thus falling into the same trap as Religion.

Religion as a rule means simply to "Re- Align" to "Re Connect" thus religion was brought into our lives to teach us that there was a higher being. Something greater than ourselves that connects us the the universal energy. Each Religion has come along and put their stamp on their so called belief. Books have been written thus creating control factors into society and feeding wars and troubles. The viscious circle.

Life is very simple. We are born as channels into this world, even when we were in the womb we are a channel to energy. Yet when we are in the womb we absorb the energy of the mother and all that she experiences. The first three years of a childs life is the most important, as it has not learned to defend itself. The baby soaks up everything the good and bad, the circumstance it finds itself in and this goes towards moulding its personality fears doubts and intelligence. It also affects the channel. This creates blocks. As the child grows up it continues to absorb everything through its aura, personal space/energy field. All thoughts he/she thinks, he/she becomes. A pattern evolves. 90% of us are taught and conditioned to believe that if we want to connect to God or something greater then we have to go to church and believe in Jesus God, Krishna, Buddha etc.. We are not taught that we are a channel for light and are connected to the universe.

The chakras need to be understood and I feel should be taught on a Reiki course as these blockages that come in the form of mental emotional physical or spiritual often form in the chakras prebventing the energy flow to flow freely around the body.
If there is a fear factor for example in the mental emotional framework then there would be a limitation of energy flow through all of the chakras creating imbalances and possible ill health especially after a period of time.

When pain is felt in the body, it is the bodies why of telling the person something is out of balance and something needs to be addressed. The aura is part of the human body. An awareness of auras I feel should also be incorporated into the workshops. Feeling and understanding the aura, what it is and how it works. When a person sustains injury to the physical he/she also sustains injury to the aura. This is why auric healing is important. Additionally when you project out negative thought forms you send them to the universe but also your energy field. If healing is not administered to this area and cut and cleansed then the mind and spirit can absorb this information and you become what you think.

Mikao Usui placed 5 reiki priciples into his work. Many other spiritual belief systems work on similar lines. Really this assists in healing your thoughts. I have created a program where we teach each student to access their thoughts, often from the subconscious state, and turn them into affirmations. Giving Reiki to their thoughts assists in accessing who they are.

Reiki should really be a life changing experience. The majority of our students have had profound awakenings and have gone on to excell in their areas of work. Sometimes, in fact more often than not changing their life for the better. Just being a part of that is deeply rewarding. However we only plant a seed and you the student are the ones who are able to help yourselves.

Learning, we feel should be fun and a memorable occaision, "the day my life improved"
Apart from the traditional and ancient teachings of Reiki we also include some fun activities that assist in accessing the inner child, embracing the leader within and taking charge of your life. Anger management is also encouraged through Reiju empowerments and the Hatsu Rei Ho technique. We include outdoor locations such as the beach, the lakes, the trees and so forth.

Deopending on the students present we meet your needs. It maybe that we work with Angels, nature spirits, the higherself, the violet flame ascended masters, Mikao Usui ,Jeshua, Buddha, Krishna, or whatever energy is needed. We have to remember that all energies are one and come from the source. All in all it is unconditional love.

Connecting to the Higherself

What is the Higherself?

The higher-self is part of your whole existance yet resides on another vibration that is You. You may understand it as the God self, thus a part of God that is living part of your consciousness state. Some people feel that the Higher-self assists with the element of intuition and inner guidance. You may believe in Angels or Guides, but perhaps their existance is part and parcel of the whole in form of your higherself. This would be true if the higherself was part of God, as that is the highest aspect of Vibration in the Universal Consciousness.

The Higherself is also thought to be energy, powerul vibrating positive energy that contains all your lives that you have lived before as well as those you are actually living through time and space. It is possible that we are living duality lives through a matrix. The Higherself connects to that matrix enabling us to receive messages through meditation and visualiztion.

Recently I took a group of people into meditation to connect them to their higherself. There experiences were profound. Each one connected to the essence and the power of who they are as human beings. Each one saw bright and colourful energy either in the form of golden light or rainbow colours or shapes. When each person connected with the higherself they were able to communicate and become intouch with the energy that they often forget to get in touch with on a daily basis.

In fact how many of you actually trust your intuition? How many of you live your life connected with the higher self. Truefully, very little, a small percentage I feel. The reason is that if we trusted our intuition, we would not worry. We would know and trust what the solution was to our everyday actions and deeds. I feel if we were taught to get in touch with our higherselves from a yound age, then the vibration and consciousness state for mother earth would be in a much more peaceful alignment that where it is right now.

We are taught in a general way that if we want to connect to something higher than ourselves, then we must follow a religion and or a belief system that dictates or shows to us how we must lead our lives to sustain the best life that "God" feels is best for us. Yet could you imagine if that changed? Imagine that from a young age we were taught that we could enter into meditation to connect to a higher consciousness, our higher selves to find the answers to our everyday problems. We have a direct access to God. We are part of that energy. We are the God energy.

The real God energy is uncondtional Love. Unconditional love knows no boundries and makes no restiction. Unconditional means just that. So where in your life do you find an unconditional way of being? What part of the self acts from this point? If we are truely connected to the higherself, then we have found the peace in the world that we all strive to achieve. Reaching the higher self we are able to maintain the equilibrium that fulfils our purpose.

Now here is some food for thought. Could it be that most Mediums actually connect to the higherself to receive messages. The higherself could in actual fact store all the information and imprints of life. Are mediums actually psychically connecting to that imprint to relay messages of hope?
It is said that mediums connect with the Hall of Records found in a library on the etheric realms. Could this actually be our higherself that connects to the etheric realms that relays the information on a psychic level to the medium?

During our connection with the higherself we were also able to connect with previous incarnations that had a reflective appearance on the life that the person was currently living. For example, one gentleman said that he saw me as a boy, a chimney sweep in victorian times. My life then was as a lesson to others. I got stuck up the chimney, and died trapped by the fumes of a fire.
Now this gentleman had not been to the meeting before. This was his first time and he knew nothing of my life. Yet he relaid this to me. This made great sense to me as when I was a boy, I developed childhood athsma. On several occaisions I also found myself involved with fires, on a train, in a building which had re-awakened a fear, yet I was unsure of where it stemmed. Clearly he was tapping into my higherself from his higherself to relay the message. On hearing this, it gave clearence and healing to a past incarnacion.

Connecting to the higherself is incredibly powerful and something I feel we must all learn to acknowledge.

There is a reason you have connected with this group. It is either that you just wish to network for your own network of light, or it is because you want to share your light with others likeminded. But what brought you to Reiki in the first place?
My forthcoming book details my journey in greater detail, but as a preview I will share an experience with you. I would also ask you all to write your calling to the Reiki path as it can act as a catalyst for others to find their truth of who they really are.
I have now taught Reiki workshops for 10 years. In that time I have taught 300 or so students. I would say that 85% have experienced a crisis of sorts whether it is the ending of a relationship, a death of family member or partner, an illness, a near death experience, a major job change, a traumatic experience and so forth before embarking upon a course. There always appears to be a trigger for the calling to the path of Reiki.
My life is no exception. In 1999 I had a bad accident on a train that caused damage to my left arm. Strangely enough it is said that we receive from the left, from spirit so in a way they were preparing me for my path. It was also to acknowledge to get in touch with the feminine artistic side of my personality, which in many ways gave birth to my writing and teaching abilities. A series of events unfolded which enabled me to form a circle. The first people who attended the circle were three women, who had all taken Reiki. That was the first time I had heard of it. It is always said that Reiki finds you when you are ready. So really since then my life has never been the same.
After Reiki entered my life, the connection with spirit re.entered my life, or should I say it re-surfaced with my hightened awareness. It was always there, I just wasnt aware of it, or in fact I supressed it. Reiki 1 is really about healing the self. I realized at this stage I didnt know who I was or where I was going. But Reiki gave me the power to follow my calling and my truth.
From taking Reiki 1 I studied counseling which then took me to volunteer with an AIDS charity. My spirit/Reiki guide presented itself and would appear with a strong scent of a particular flower. This scent became very powerful and created a network of light as I became a catalyst for lightworkers on the Costa del Sol and beyond.
It would appear that I became the pebble that was dropped into the pond, and now I watch the ripples expand outwards. This is what makes teaching so rewarding. After each person embarks on a course, it has an affect on those close to them or their friends, family etc..
So many people have changed their life in such a positive way.
But what is Reiki?
In may ways it is not only a healing source, and really it is often mis understood. Reiki is a form of re-connection. It strips away the onion layers of the person we became to enable us to accept and love our true self. It un blocks the past so you can embrace living for every day.
If we look at the truth of Mikao Usui, the reason he used the 5 reiki principles, were so people would learn to heal their thoughts. Our thoughts ultimately create our destiny. Giving and channeling unconditional love to our thoughts is a powerful way forward in embracing who we are.
Often however the power of healing our thoughts is often over looked and Reiki is often only taught as a healing technique of hands on or in the aura. There is so much more to this incredible energy deriving from the Universe.
Much more Reiki is a portal of Light. The symbols that are used in Reiki 2 and 3 enable you to reach a new height of awareness and connection to the higher self . Energy portals of light are very real. They take the student/client to their hightened sensitivity to access their inner power.
Many students have now become good mediums and Im sure will go on to become great mediums. Some have gone on to become writers, artists, builders, nurses and so forth.
Not everyone who takes a Reiki course will follow the path of Reiki. I see it that once that portal is opened a pathway is presented. That pathway could take the student to a new passage way in life, always for the highest good.

All students who walk the path instinctively know when it is time to raise their energy with Reiki. The teacher that presents him/herself is brought to you for a reason. Each teacher plants a seed, but you must remember it is up to you the student, the practitioner, to work on yourself, the give yourself healing and light to your thoughts and the body mind and soul.

Too many students embark upon a course, because they initially want to help others and save the world. But the message I constantly give, is that you must heal and love yourself first before you can heal others. Release the inner thought pattern of not deserving the energy, because you are the healer, and recognise that you need to take time out for you.

My life has been inspired by so many people including many of my clients, who many became students of Reiki themselves then went on to open centres, run workshops and pass on the message of light.

So please add your experience and lets share our thoughts and our calling to enable others to heal, love and believe in themselves.

What is a Reiki Treatment?

Firstly we give you the opportunity to off load any problems or issues within a safe environment as well as taking some personal details.
Reiki works upon your intention. The Practitioner asks you for your intention that you hope to gain from the healing session for the benefit of your healing experience.

You are then shown the healing bed and asked to lie down. The healing is carried out while you are fully clothed, therefore it is suggested that you wear comfortable clothing.
You will only be asked to remove your shoes and heavy Jewellery.

The Practitioner then will show you the hand positions he will be using to aid your healing and wellbeing. He will then explain that Reiki is channelled unconditional love that flows through him, his hands and through each of your chakras (energy centres).
Healing also takes place in the aura.
The aura is your energy field, often where dis-ease manifests in the form of mental/emotional issues.
In that time the Reiki Practitioner may feel or intuitively connect to the area that needs to be addressed to aid your own healing process..

In that time you may feel deep relaxation or even enter sleep state.
The treatment usually lasts 45 minutes

You will be gently woken up and given a glass of water
Then the treatment is discussed.

As with all complementary therapies one treatment may not be sufficient to heal your issues/problems/ill health.
In standard practices it is suggested to have 3 Reiki Treatments fairly close together
Eg. Once a week, for three weeks.

The Price for a full Reiki Treatment is 40 euros

Now that we have entered the age of AQUARIUS, there is more aspects of unsettlement in the world. Those not aware or in touch with themselves or the world in which they live are feeling a sense of loss and confusion. The global financial markets and world recession is kickstarting the lack of focus in todays society. Yet what is happening is happening to enlighten and awaken the human race as we have now entered into the new age of Aquarius.

We are meeting more individuals who are seeking spiritual guidance and counseling as well as healing. There are many who wish to change their lives, many of whom who seek a new way of being but at the same time assisting with the awakening and healing of the new consciousness for man and the world.

Reiki is but one pathway towards the awakening process. However Luis and I are all too aware of the need for more lightworkers to assist with the ascension for the planet. If this world is going to survive then the awareness and consciousness that co-exisits here must ascend and change its present cycle.

There are many people who need to be reasured that life will continue and that the world can be a safe place to live. There is a future for us all.

We meet so many people who are "people pleasers". These are people who are eager to help others, but give little time for themselves. Not giving time for the self only creates stress and lack of focus. Often your energy is depleated.

Now is the time to recognise that you do have a purpose and a natural ability in helping others through the power of healing and unconditional love.

The age of AQUARIUS- 14th february 2009

The Aquarian alignment 14th February 2009

We measure our global sense of both space (latitude and longitude) and time (universal time - UT or GMT) from the prime meridian located at Greenwich, England. So we can perceive the collective influence of this momentous astrological event by looking at the alignment from this globally ‘centered' perspective.

When we do something extraordinary and exquisite emerges

At dawn on 14th February the day dedicated to St Valentine, the patron saint of Love, the Moon in Libra enters the seventh house of relationships. And Jupiter and Mars are aligned in Aquarius in the twelfth house of spiritual transformation.

Forty years ago, the intuitive words of a song called Aquarius, brought the dawning of the new age into our collective awareness:

When the Moon is in the seventh house

and Jupiter aligns with Mars.

Then peace will guide the planets

and love will steer the stars

At dawn on 14th February the Cosmos actually embodies this perfect alignment to support our collective manifestation of love and peace and dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

The Aquarian chart of 14th February reveals an incredible concentration of cosmic influences blending with the energies of Aquarius in the twelfth house. Expansive Jupiter and energetic Mars are aligned with the higher purpose of the North Node. The presence of Chiron the wounded healer offers us the opportunity to heal the schisms that have separated us for so long. Neptune emphasizes collective humanitarian movements and the co-creation of social justice. And the presence of the radiant Sun enlightens the entire alignment.

Mercury also in the twelfth house but just beyond the cusp in Capricorn, allies with transformational Pluto to communicate and anchor the Shift throughout our global structures and institutions.

The Moon in Libra in the seventh house emphasizes harmonious real -ationships.

Venus in Aries in the first house energizes and empowers dynamic co-creativity.

And whilst Saturn the great task master in opposition to Uranus the unexpected awakener is suggesting an ongoing confrontation as the dregs of the unsustainable old paradigm reluctantly give way to the untested hope of the new, their placements in Virgo and Pisces brings practical altruism and visionary inspiration to the transition.

At 7.25am on 14th February - and for the 18 minutes of the alignment, I invite you, in the universal heart, to add your own intention for love and peace and to co-create the dawning of the Age of Aquarius to that of the Cosmos. In whatever way feels appropriate for you, you may choose to align with7.25am (UT) or 7.25am your own local time energizing a wave of intention that will surge around the Earth.

Having taught Reiki for the last 10 years, I have become aware of the needs of my students. Evolution also plays a part in how receptive students are as a whole. Since teaching with my partner, Luis, we continue to become aware of our students needs and the growing demand for additional development and awareness in working with energy and unconditional love.

We have therefore adapted the courses we teach. We always focus upon meeting the needs of each student. Many of our students are therapists, teachers, mediums, holistic workers, nurses, doctors, artists or those in society that are providing a valuable service. With this knowledge and the changing attitudes and global shift of consciousness we realize there are greater needs to be met.

We now teach psychic surgery on Reiki level 2. This we usually teach on Reiki 3 , however the students now are practicing this technique which is assisting greatly with their clients wellbeing. With recession depression, this technique helps to release the primary cause so that the client is then able to accept the reiki treatments with ease. This also speeds up the process of healing thus, the client is able to embrace a new way of being at a much more rapid rate than before.

Over the last few months we have become aware of the growing amount of people who are striving towards changing their current lives to something better, yet initially they are unaware of what may lie around the corner or indeed fear the future.

We can either project out doubt and fear of the unknown or we can learn to come to terms with what might be around the corner. Yet the growing numbers of business minded people who have worked in the corporate business world, where life seemed to be stable and rewarding are now faced with instability and uncertanity.

However this is incredibly powerful and a positive way forward. The growing numbers of people who are being made redundant, are left with time on their hands, often with a substantial payoff that tides them over until they find what they are looking for.

However this time off is crucial. Wasting time and just procrastinating, with in time, affects the self esteem, confidence and self belief patterns in the mind. We know and understand that the mind is a powerful tool. It needs to be used otherwise it becomes full of the past, the worries and dubts of the future enter and cause a distraction and feeling of loss of direction.

Therefore it is important to keep the mind active and stimulated.
Yet there is also the amount of time that you may now have in the time you have been given to re-evaluate your life. You can either worry yourself into a nervous state, or you can look at your life and realize that if you are going to move forward in this world, then you as an individual have to change your perceptions in life in order to survive in this ever changing world.

You have been chosen by a higher source to re-evaluate your life. You have been given time to change. Why?
The world is changing and the evolutionary process is going through a new cycle.
REMAINING ON YOUR OLD VIBRATION OF EXISTANCE NO LONGER SERVES YOUR NEEDS. Therefore something has to change.

Firstly I wish to explain that we come into the world as channels to this incredibly powerful universal energy that we call Reiki. It actually means "Universal Energy".
I believe and passionatly feel that when we come to earth to live a human existance, that even when we are in the womb, we start to absorb the positive and negative energies that surround our mother and her enviroment. When we are born, the first three years of a childs life are crucial. A child of that age has not learnt to put up barriers or defend itself. It is vunerable and open to all emotions. Those emotions go towards the make up their personality as well as the enviroment in which they grow up in.
As a child grows up their parents, teachers and elders influence their belief systems, and the way in which they think and behave. As a parent you must realize that bringing a child into the world carries an enormous responsibility.

As the child grows up, society as a whole teaches us that "if we want to connect to the divine, then we have to go to church. There we are guarenteed a place in heaven". We are taught to recite the lords prayer, to live by the ten commandments or any other belief system that carries a similar lesson. We are not taught that we are all channels of light that each have the power to believe in ourselves, heal ourselves and others.

We as human beings are incredibly powerful.

Reiki in many ways is the re-connection to the source. Through your life you have blocked your chakras with positive and negative emotions and experiences, living but only existing without realizing why you are really here.

Each time you have had a cut to the body, your aura is also torn, creating a whole or damage thus creating negative thoughts and feelings to flood into your being.

Reiki can help you to heal yourself and your aura, thus creating a sustained healthy body.

Reiki can help you impove your thought process thus having more focus and direction in your life.

Channel energy into your thoughts as well as learn to heal your body mind and spirit on all levels of being, whether its the mental, emotional, physical or spiritual.

The media, government institutions, even Religion are all focusing upon the so called credit crunch creating hysteria and a belief that everyone are losing their jobs, unable to afford mortgages and lives are spirelling out of control.

Can you not see the Governments are trying to brain wash us into a false sense of security. They are feeding our fears to create a recession. How often do we turn on the television or read in the paper the positive news that thousands of people were employed, that new businesses are opening ?

Creating a negative thought pattern into society creates a negative response to life.

We have the power to over ride this belief system

We have the power to know that we can make a difference to our lives-in a positive way

Our lives are changing that is for sure, but we can all have a positive change in our life.

We have a self belief that we can survive

Rather than allow the everyday barrage of negative thought forms to enter your mind, tell yourself each morning

Yes, Mikao Usui established the 5 Reiki Principles. But he did not create them, to be used lightly. They are there to intergrate into society and into the life of each individual that follows the Reiki Path. These were established after working in the beggars camp. After he had healed them, he realized that they were returning, why, because he had not taught them to value their self worth.

What makes our Reiki Workshops different?

Freedom of Expression enables a release within the Solar Plexus. Too many people suppress un wanted emotions for long time periods which cause mental, emotional, physical and spiritual blockages, thus preventing healing from taking place.

From experience of teaching the workshops have evolved to incorporate dance and movement through self expression as well as laughter therapy. Both enable the student to get in touch with the inner child and express the self freely. It also enables us as Masters and Teachers to attune the student at a higher frequency thus enabling them to move forward positively and effectively.

There is a technique called Hatsu Rei Ho. This is also practised in conjunction with these exercises. It is a Japanese Buddhist start up technique which assists in banishing unwanted emotions to attatch to the aura as well as the internal body.

After flying in from the UK I must say I was pretty anxious about what to expect from my stay at Villa La Paz, and the Reiki course, especially as this was the first course I have taken part-in which was not only about feeling and emotions but touch. What I found over the two days spent with Jason and Luis, was a sense of warmth, understanding and honesty - their style was to build foundations, layering the relationships between both teacher and student and students with other students, so that there became an openness between the whole group. With this sense of trust came, laughter, tears, confusion and clarity; helping us find stillness and silences that demonstrated how we could heal and nurture ourselves as well as others.

My time spent at the Centre was a unique time for me, and I will always remember the morning of Day Two when I woke with anger, tears and emotions that had been building inside me for sometime, this was greeted with open arms by Jason and Luis and the rest of the group, it was so cleansing. And finally how could I forget the fun around the pool, dancing around completely carefree and in the complete moment with people who had been total strangers only 24 hours before. You really do seem to have a unique style which works for me.

Hi Guys

Life has been treating us very well so far this year. Spirits are up and Reiki keeps on popping up automatically. I love it!!

The family life has settled a bit after Karin’s en made redundant and she is a lot more relaxed. As well her back problems are getting a lot better. No operation or mayor treatments are involved so far, must be the Reiki and massage I do on her!! (I’m just joking, but then, maybe I am not!) The kiddos, what is there to say, angels they are. As you can see I am doing well.

Thank you for the impression you made on my life. I do honour my teacher through life and you guys have a special place in my heart. I hope to join you again in the near future.

It is important that you dont put your life on hold, when it is a time you could benefit with healing/spiritual guidance.
